The version histories that sat at the top of the five identity pages and their shared library have moved to this changelog. Each file now carries a link to its own changelog page instead.
What has changed on this site, in its database and in the scripts behind it, newest first. Older history is being filled in as it is reconstructed, and each entry says whether it was recorded at the time or rebuilt later.

The version histories that sat at the top of the five identity pages and their shared library have moved to this changelog. Each file now carries a link to its own changelog page instead.
The changelog admin page opens on only what still needs publishing. An index of all releases, with their public and private counts, opens any release in full for unpublishing, and publish buttons return to the view they were pressed in.
The changelog admin page can load a release file chosen from disk, as well as one pasted in. The file goes through the same check and preview before anything is saved.
The public changelog is linked from the Community menu, and the private sidebar has a link to the changelog admin page.
Loading and publishing changelog entries has its own permission, separate from managing reference data, and the access rules now cover the new changelog admin folder.
A public changelog page lists published changes newest first, with search and filters by file, database table and topic.
A loading page checks a changelog file, previews what will change, and saves it. Nothing becomes public by loading; each entry is published by hand after a privacy check.
Three tables and a public view now hold the development history: releases, individual changes, and the files, tables and topics each change touched.
